"Not only is this park beautiful and well-maintained, with a great “pirate’s booty/buried treasure” concept intertwined with the structures, it also boasts a diverse group of families, which is great to see hanging out altogether. Only wish it was bigger, to host even more happy kids! Edited after summer experience: this wading pool is perfect for kids in the sense that it’s shallow, but it’s in FULL SUN so don’t forget to apply and reapply that sunscreen. Also it’s mobbed every day of summer."

"Lots of fun ways kids can test their agility and use their imaginations! Great year round: Lacks shade for the brightest summer days, but has terrific water features to compensate. River and trails nearby add to the possibilities. Overall, one of the area's best playgrounds."
"A gem! Lifeguards do a great job, nice mix of shade and sun. Great splash pad for kids that don’t want to be in the wading pool. Bathrooms, gorgeous views of the river around it. Amazing playground. Lovely!"
