"We love coach Josh and coach Chris. Super down to earth people and for the children. In my opinion, the classes are pretty pricey especially if you have more than one child, but they change the obstacle course frequently to target the kid’s different muscle groups. The whole staff works really hard and seem to work well together. Rescheduling missed classes is easy as well, you just give them a call and let them know. One con is that there is limited seating on certain days."
"We signed our 6yr old up with the hopes of basic parkour being introduced. Ends up being a poorly structured and poorly supervised playgroup. I filmed my daughter doing 14mins of front rolls alone and away from her group and the watch of an instructor. Thus was a constant theme of her 'lessons'.Parkour can be very hard on the body and even the most basic body mechanics and fundamentals are not being taugh. We have experience with parkour with our older children at another gym. The simple instruction of reinforcing children to lift themselves up with their feet and not knees isn't even shown. Which is a parkour basic. If the goal is true parkour instruction and safety for little ones I wouldnt invest in this gym. She did two sessions and the 2nd was purely because they automatically re-enroll. We are bringing her elsewhere. Its worth the drive to Fall River despite living in Dartmouth to find parkour instructors and not gymnastics instructors who just changed their title and not their knowledge level. In response to the owner; 14mins of not being supervised for a 6yr old would be considered unstructured and unsupervised during a "class". Sorry for the very easy to make mistake of assuming rhe movement academy which started as parkour and is setup as a parkour facility is not. Its some sort of new invention? In anycase, not a safe or structured extracurricular for kids. One lesson my child left in tears and the instructor didnt even notice."
"BSMA is our home away from home. The staff feel like family to us! My boys go to the once weekly classes and my 6 year old goes to the mini camps during the summer. The staff are like mentors to my boys and I'm so thankful for the relationships they have created with my children! My boys are more confident and strong. We have been going since the fall and will continue to do so! Thank you BSMA!!!"
"My Granddaughters 6&8 have been coming for about 3 years. They love it !!! The coaches are so Great with the Kids..they work hard, but have fun. Highly recommend."
"My 2 daughters (6 and 8 now) have been attending class and open gym here for a couple years and they absolutely love it. The coaches and staff are great and the equipment is top notch. The perfect place for kids to learn parkour and ninja obstacles!"
