"I Enrolled my son when he was seven. I think the most telling endorsement is he absolutely loves going. It is a commitment (we go 3x per week) but he enjoys it very much. He has a lot of fun, gets a fair amount of physical activity, and is held to the high standards that the senseis model. They do not “baby” the younger kids. They teach and practice age appropriate judo/jujitsu while mandating accountability. It is definitely a contact sport. Not sure what I was expecting but they jump right into it - but they do so in a safe, fun way. The instructors are all wonderful but also impressive are the more “senior” students who step into a mentor role; you can see and hear them coaching the newer students. I would highly recommend Elevate."
