"I trained regularly at with Shihan Brian Sweetser at BSMA for over 13 years, and it has undoubtedly been one of the most significant and influential presences in my life throughout. Not only did I gain mastery of countless Kenpo Karate techniques, forms, terms, defenses, strikes, weapons, methodologies, and philosophies through the years of training, but I also thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Progressing from the youngest kids class ("Tiny Tigers"), to "Kenpo Kids," and eventually to the full-on adult classes offered at BSMA, Shihan always had a way of making our training as enjoyable and entertaining as possible. While Master Sweetser is dedicated to teaching Martial Arts, he takes a body/mind approach with his young students. As the kids learn martial skills they must also be responsible and respectful in their practice. As their Sensei he believes in discipline. However, I think he is having as much fun as they are.
