Rent-A-Center 736 Crescent Street, Brockton, MA 02302

"Lady working there at the Crescent St in Brockton one was rude, said I would have to pay $150 to rent a smartphone, that was too much so she said, "Ok thanks for wasting my time again" even after knowing it was my first time at a Rent a Center and wouldn't know their policy. Don't recommend coming here if you want to rent a smartphone, unless you have at least $150 to spend, otherwise you could just buy a phone for that price. Maybe people wouldn't "waste her time" if they didn't feel like she's scamming them?"

"My husband and I have been using Rent a center off and on for years. Never had an issue, they were always polite and respectful. Well now due to my husband loosing his job, and waiting for his unemployment to go through. The New management at this location, decided to take back my son (who has high anxiety) Xbox, instead of the other 2 things we have. This will be the Last Time we rent Anything from this location!!!!! Ridiculous"

"They charge way to much. I understand charging more for a product if your doing payments. But to jack the price up $100 or more on items you want to buy out run is fraudulent."

"They are ok but when it's time to pay they harrass you all hours of the day even when the store isn't open yet. It's harassment. They do have some people who are amazing & go above and beyond for you. Make sure that you read thought contract because I was told one thing and that wasn't the contract they gave me. I had to very a lawyer involved cause of the harrassment and I had 1 payment left n just wanted my tv not the scratched loaner, which I never got. I don't recommend going there at all. Better off saving ur money to buy whatever u want instead of all the interest and aggravation. Had to get lawyers involved cause of the harassment and they refused to give me the items I had contacts for not the temp items until they fixed TV. Don't deal with rent a center buy a TV $400 on layaway b smart."

"There employees will harass you about a payment if you’re a day late. Sometimes I forget to pay on Saturday and come Monday morning they will be calling your job leaving messages. It’s boarderline harassment. Then the employees will have an attitude and talk to you rudely over the phone, especially employee of the year David. I was told I couldn’t pay off my item early unless I came into the store. What type of ish is that? But anyways I’m glad I paid my item off and I will NEVER use rent a center again and I advise no one else does. It will be great If this location closes down because rent a center is a scam! You’re better off saving a couple paychecks and buying your items instead of these dealing with these terrible employees."
