"Horrible experience DO NOT BOOK HERE!. I spent several days before arrival date calling and emailing everyday trying to speak to someone about a question but no one ever answered the phone or called me back, took them two days to answer me back the day before arrival with an email and when I emailed them back for more information they never answered. The site we even booked through tried calling them but again no answer. We ended up canceling our reservation through our booking site and couldn’t find a hotel so last minute so we had to drive home. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service because there wasn’t any at all, except our booking site received an answer when they denied our full refund. After four days of calling and emailing up until hours before they never had anyone available to speak to or no one every called us back. AGAIN HORIIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUS ETHERE WAS NONE WHATSOEVER!!"

"So I need to start off by saying I thought this felt a little like a scam, but I was planning a trip to Salem and they were BY FAR the most affordable, so here we are. The picture that was shown on the website was very pretty and cookie cutter, I thought “there’s no way we just got an apartment for 700 for 2 nights, 10 minutes from Salem and it looks like this”. I had a couple questions and every time I called the service line, somebody was there to help. No hold, no robot, an immediate person who was extremely helpful. We were sent directions 24 hours before we checked in, and it had everything in it. It told us how to get there (the address did not pop in to gps), it told us the code to get in, and everything went off without a hitch. We got inside and it was clean, beautiful, simple, and had everything we needed for cooking, watching tv, taking showers, etc. (looked just like the pictures) we had a designated parking spot, and it was Ana amazing experience all the way through. Thank you to the customer service agent for helping me along the way. We will DEFINITELY use Maverick again."

"This was a good stay for a couple, the location was great! Everything was clean and comfortable. The only problem was we couldn't connect to the internet, we followed the instructions but it was impossible."

"I had a very poor experience at their Beacon Hill property. It's advertised as a charming and stylish studio, in reality it is more like student accomodation. The light didn't work, the window didn't open, the blind was translucent and didn't block out the dark. It was decorated and refurbished cheaply. I could hear the occupants upstairs, the front door opening and closing, people talking in the hallway (at midnight). I was due to stay several nights but cancelled after one night. I discussed a refund with the property - they took several days to come back to me, initially offering just over half of the total amount I paid. They then reduced this to just 25%. I managed to get most of my money back through Booking. com, but not the first night plus charges (nearly $500). Overall a very poor and disappointing experience."

"Very responsive staff, nice space, clean, cool and functional kitchenette, a/c works fine. Great location - handy for shops and bars/restaurants. Pleasant walking distance from MIT and from the BPL. But then everything in Boston is walking distance..."
