"My brother convinced me to take sailing lessons at Edgewood Sailing School a few years back. I thought I knew how to sail fairly well, but I soon found out that my skills were not so great. After taking the beginner, intermediate and advanced classes, I was sailing comfortably, and in full control, in conditions I never thought I'd take any boat out in! The training and the instructors were so good, that I came back after Covid and became a tutor, teaching students on the water. I recently gained my US Sailing, Basic Keelboat Certification, so now I'm an instructor at the school! I wouldn't have pursued that if I didn't enjoy being around these folks, and the students, so much."
