Reviews
"Joslin Diabetes Center is horribly managed and impossible to contact. They charge exorbitant copays under the pretense of being owned by Beth Israel Hospital despite appointments being nothing more than a means to get prescriptions filled. Additionally, they lost my lab work the last time I visited."
"I work at a local hospital network. I am currently attempting to speak with someone regarding a patient's insurance reimbursement. After 18 minutes of holding, someone answers and asks me to hold...I must have been holding in a different status. After total of 24 minutes holding, a woman answers to tell me I have reached the Pediatric dept, which is NOT the prompt I selected. She 'transfers ' me to Adult and after 3-5 more minutes, I am disconnected....Google really needs to implement a half-star rating. *UPDATE* AFTER CALLING AGAIN AND WAITING ON HOLD, JUST DISCONNECTED AFTER 12 MI...NUTES"
"Completely understaffed. If you need any kind of assistance, they send you directly to voicemail where it tells you it may be 2-3 business days until they will get back to you."
"Wonderful doctors, horrible and unacceptable support and administration. The people who answer the phone just seem completely uninterested in being helpful to you, even when ignoring you means you're going to be going without your medicine for a bit. Multiple times I've had an apparently helpful person assure me that everything will be taken care of with my pharmacy, only to find out later that they never contacted my pharmacy at all. That happening even once is unacceptable, but I'm in the middle of my third time going through this (which prompted me to write the review). That's on top of a million minor inconveniences like having your call transferred 3-4 times before somebody finally speaks with you."
"My first apot was perfect. After that I had trouble with high and very low spikes and needed instruction on how to handle insulin after steroid shots. Rachel sharkey rn nurse educator was rude and impatient. I've been in hospital twice near home bc of her refusal to return urgent calls. I also left message fir Dr on call at 8 pm bc sugars rose to 375 even with insulin. I'll be filing formal complaint with chief medical officer and reporting Rachel's license to board of nursing for review. I0m never going back. Best place i0n world for diabetic care.yea right. Go elsewhere before they ki0ll u"
