"Lunch at this place was so lovely. We had salt cod mantecato, cod cheek, foie gras truffles, fried sunchokes, broiled oysters and mussels. All were delicious. The mussels are really tender and plump. Our waitress, Emma, was adorable. The virgin Bloody Mary was a bit too spicy to my taste so she immediately swapped to a blood orange mocktail for me. Everything from the food, the service and the vibe was above and beyond."

"I cannot recommend Wayside enough. We just had our wedding reception there, and it was truly a dream. The whole team was professional and warm, and the co-owner Siobhan was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I asked them to set certain things up before our guests arrived, and they followed my requests perfectly - but then I was delighted to find that they'd added extra touches I hadn't even asked for, like printing our custom menu (a copy of which is now hanging on my bulletin board). OH, and I haven't even mentioned the food yet! Wow. Everyone was raving. The fried cod cheeks? The eggplant with mozzarella? The sunchokes?! I could go on.... Wayside is a 10/10. The food, the building, the decor, the service.... In hindsight, I wouldn't have wanted my wedding reception anywhere else. We're so lucky that such a special place was part of our big day."
