Easy Street Lounge

"After 8P you can't enter through Water street, and parking is very limited on Front St. The bartender was excellent and they had a good variety of drink choices. I don't believe they serve food(?), I didn't see any menu. The atmosphere is quirky with a low key, relaxed vibe. The layout was confusing, with very little traffic flow. It had a large couch area only 2-3 people could enjoy at a time. 3 tables could easily have been added instead, opening up the back area where a pool table is hidden. They had a live band & some cleared space to dance, but no one really did. The band was ok, not good but trying. Someone should have told them turning up the sound doesn't make you better... it just amplifies the bad. The band also basically told people to leave, so we did! They have a nice outside area with good lighting, in case you vape, smoke, or are waiting on a ride."

"Awesome place! SUPER friendly staff and service is great the other customers typically are of all kinds no judgment zone the atmosphere is completely laid back with couches and a pool table. But they no longer serve food here ."

"Visiting from out of town, working a 7 day a week contract til Christmas. Finally got a day off on a Saturday night. If you're from out of town, don't bother going to this place. 1. It's a tight knit group, (they only cater to regulars, did not feel welcomed from the staff or patreons, as I'm an owner of a few businesses, psychology 101) 2. Read rave reviews about this place, that's why I was there. Very disappointed. 3. Better place couple doors down named Qualls tap or something like that, by far. Way better atmosphere as far as vibes from staff and patrons. Stay away from easy street. Better places few doors down"

"I can't believe I've never reviewed Easy St. This is my all-time favorite bar. It has a fantastic atmosphere and style. The drinks are great, and the people are even better. When I think of Hallowell, the first thing that comes to mind is this establishment. And that's saying a lot given some of the great places the town has."
