"Beautiful and worth the stop. The Cemetery here was just beautiful and some really powerful ground to walk on, we didnt expect the mass grave area of those killed in the battle and that really was moving. Robert Frost's grave was tranquil and quiet. Beautiful!"
"Beautiful church and cemetery. We didn't get to go inside,, but the grounds are well maintained, and we found my 6th Great grandparents on the front row! Many interesting headstones of all sizes and shapes. The trees were decked out in their fall colors, with a few leaves falling. Very picturesque and nostalgic."
"Great classic New England church! I've seen a lot of historic churches and this is one of the best classic 18th, 19th century style of white steepled New England church. It's in the perfect location in Bennington, with a large cemetery, a view of the mountains and the place is stunning in the fall with all the key popping colors. The staff was super friendly and there's even a tiny gift shop. We enjoyed going tot he upper floors and seeing the view as well as the pew boxes. We were also lucky enough to arrive just before a tour and hear a presentation of the history of the church. Really is a beautiful place and right up the road is the Bennington monument where if your leaf peeping in the fall you can get an even better view of the fall foliage. Highly recommend going instead and seeing the early American architecture and the surrounding scenery."
"Absolutely breathtaking edifice, with historic cemetery that includes the resting place of Robert Frost and his family. Take the time to see both, and read a verse or two while you pay your respects to Frost and his legacy. Truly a special place to visit."
"Beautiful church, wonderful story. Beautiful resting place and well maintained. Robert Frost's resting place with two poems. Read them out loud as a tribute."
