"We came in on a girls night out, had a fine experience until we tried to leave. We paid our bill, tipped the server over 20%. We finished paying and I said to my friends “we should let the server have this table so she can make more money” because I have been a server and I understand. As we were leaving, she ran out of the restaurant yelling at us and stated “are you guys going to finish paying??? I didn’t get paid for over half of your table.” Everything was paid if she would have taken a minute, and done her job, as we had paid with the QR code on our receipts. Her name was Mackenna I guess she hasn’t received a lot of training. The manager didn’t seem to care much. I’ll never come back. What an awful way to end our week. You might be chased out of the restaurant for PAYING your bill. Wouldn’t recommend"

"I decided to DoorDash my food the other night and there wasn’t very much for food and I spent $20. Anytime I go into the restaurant or DoorDash I get plenty but why I order just felt small."

"We went on Friday tea time approx 6pm, so was busy so a slight wait before a table came free. Our server Roxanne was helpful in our choice of dishes, she was very accommodating. The food was hot & fast. This is a useful 'watering hole' if attending Bennnigton Cinema. To much distraction with the amount of T.V's, not suitable for a quiet romantic evening!"

"This location in Bennington is either run by lazy unsupervised employees or managememt that simply don't care. Google maps shows a closing time of 10pm, we were driving by while moving and decided to detour to eat here, we arrived at 9:35 and found the Hours sign showing closing at 11pm, so it seemed that all was OK, but pulled the door and it was locked, employees still were inside but nobody cared we were there, we walked to the side To-Go door which was open and asked the employees about service they mentioned it was closed, I asked about the sign on the door indicating closing at 11, they said they changed their hours since COVID, I then mentioned Google Maps show closing at 10pm and it was 9.35pm, so I asked at what time they close, she replied sorry we close between 9.30pm and 10pm (Sounded more like a convenience to them rather than business hours). Needless to say, we lost quite some time for our detour and ended up empty handed. Respectful businesses should abide by their posted hours so customers do not loose their time which is as valuable as theirs, regardless of what those are, just do what you say."

"We decided to eat here as it was late and close to our hotel. This was our 3rd time here during Battle Days in Bennington. I ordered the 10 oz steak with plain mashed potatoes instead of loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. I requested no season ing. My steak was tough and not cooked as ordered. Potatoes were cold.I was brought a new order of potatoes, and when I requested butter....they only have garlic butter! Requested to speak with the manager, and another steak was cooked, but this time seasoned with garlic butter and still not a quality steak for the price but I ate it as I was tired and just wanted something to eat. Few places are open in Bennington after 9pm.. I know Chili's is known for their Mexican food, but some items should be added to their menu so a person can eat something other than Mexican food if their partner wants Mexican. And I don't just mean hamburgers!. I asked about chicken... seasoned. The manager did work with us, so that helped. Our server,Clara, was exceptional and is an asset to the company.She did everything to make sure I could have something suited to my dietary restrictions. Will not be coming back."
