"We stopped here to get drinks before dinner at La Famiglia Giorgio (across the street from). Tim treated us to delicious cocktails and fun conversation. Stop by and say hello to Tim if you’re in the area and thirsty for a couple of cold ones."
"Me and some gals came in from out of town. We were late to our original reservation somewhere else, due to airline issues. I was able to book here a couple hours beforehand for 8 of us. The service was so wonderful!! Such a cute little spot. Everything was phenomenal and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Loved all the pasta dishes and cocktails (: thank you!"
"We’ve been twice now, but most recently we came in for a few drinks and some appetizers and everything was just amazing. Since I’ve grown up enjoying Portuguese food, I was ecstatic that an Italian/Portuguese fusion restaurant came to the North End. Both times the chouriço bombeiro was fantastic and this time we tried the octopus appetizer and it was incredible and probably the best I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend giving Libertine a try!"
"Fantastic Italian restaurant! My girlfriend and I love to try new places whenever we can and ended up visiting Libertine. What caught our eye was the potential to make almost everything, if not everything, gluten free! Being a person with Celiac, this was reassuring. Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about allergies. We both ordered the gnocchi and it was delicious! I would say the portions relative to other restaurants located here were a bit smaller, however, it was the perfect portion for a meal. We also were given gluten free bread for the table! Overall, excellent food and service."
"Service was good, as was the atmosphere - except for the music, which was too loud and "top40"-y, which didn't quite match the vibe. We shared the octopus appetizer and that was excellent. However, our entrees were a bit subpar. Nothing egregious, but strangely lacking in flavor/seasoning. And overall, far overpriced ($60 per person, and we didn't even order any drinks), especially compared to other nearby restaurants that serve similar dishes. I would gently recommend going elsewhere."
