Reviews of RAM Jewelers
"I brought my Movado watch in for repair. There was a pin that fell out of the wristband. I dropped it off and he replaced the pin within 15 minutes. He did a great job. I will definitely be back. Great customer service."
"This is the worst jewelry shop!!!! I wish I could warn ever person not to go him. I gave him my watch to repair, not only that he did not repair it. When i showed him that it was still broken he gave me an attitude and insulted me in front of my kids saying it was a waste of time and he would not fix it and laughed. He made me still pay for it even even though it was still broken but i didn't want to cause a seen, so I paid and walked away. But never again!!! I have warned my friends and family to never go their. We are paying him with our hard earned money and he is giving people attitude and worst customer service. Please take your jewelry else where."
"If I could give zero stars, I would. In order to avoid leaving a bad review, I sent an email on 8/14/22 sharing my experience. No one even followed up. So here we are. On 8/6/22, I brought a brand new (worn once on wedding day) Bulova watch in for a battery replacement. Worker who was there quoted us $35 to replace battery and said it’d take 15 mins to replace. Long story short, we were there for over an hour waiting because the worker there was not able to replace the battery. Instead he damaged the watch mechanics on the inside (Hands of the watch moved with no issues before we gave it to him then was returned to us without being able to move the hands at all). The outer appearance of the watch which was flawless was returned to us with dents and scratches from his attempts at getting the back to open. Instead of just telling us he was having difficulty opening the watch, he damaged it so badly (but he didn’t care it’s not his expensive watch anyway). We arrived to this place with a flawless, mint condition watch that had a dead battery and left with a damaged, scratched and dented watch, with not only a dead battery but now the movement mechanics were no longer worker. We should have gone to our jeweler first and the worse part is they don’t care. They didn’t care the day we were there or the day I sent an email to avoid this bad review. Don’t go here unless you don’t care for your things."
"Dropped my watch off around 12:30 pm for a battery replacement... took less than 5 minutes..charged $35. Told him that was very high...last year it was $20 for the same watch..battery it cost $5. for the battery . they charged $30 to put the battery in? Crazy..I am a long time customer.. he said he doesn't set prices and that the prices are higher because of the Pandemic.... Is it really $35 to replace a watch battery? Or was I priced gouged!"
"A few years ago, I bought a watch for a good price. I broke it and brought it back to be fixed. He quoted me $30 to $40 and when I filled out the drop-off receipt, he took my favorite pen and refused to give it back. I started getting adamantly upset, so he gave it back. He quoted me $30 to $40, but when I picked it up he charged me $50 saying the the seal had been broken. This was "not" true. I consulted another jeweler who said the seal was "not" broken and it was a 15 minute job. About 2 years ago I had another bad experience when I purchased a strip of silver to be made into 2 bracelets. When I picked it up he did not give me the remaining pieces back, so I adamantly refused to leave. He finally took them out of the drawer and gave them back. He thinks I am stupid because I am a female Senior Citizen. He doesn't understand I am an educated teacher who has worked hard for her money. I gave him a second chance because of Covid thinking of the financial loss he must have taken, however I was a returning customer and will never return again. He confuses kindness with weakness. (My laptop is in for repair, so I am using another computer, therefore Susan's name is not mine.)"
