"Love Kilkenny’s! Great beer selection, no nonsense atmosphere and a great, old building. Is it fine dining/ froo froo date stuff? Nope…, but we love it just the same!"
"Place was empty on a Saturday night around 6-7. The bartender was very rude as soon as we walked in. We played music on a juke box and the bartender made rude comments about the music and turned it off AFTER WE PAID FOR IT. The owner was very nice and gave our money back but the bartender needs to get fired if they want a younger crowd/more business and Not just pickled old men."
"Visiting a friend in the area, stopped in b/c web search said they have music. Found only a juke box. Place was dead and bartender was so RUDE and literally told us we were "in the wrong place"! Will not be back. Just FYI to the owner....you may want to welcome new customers since "regulars" will eventually be gone. Good luck!"
"Awful place to go, the people are less than friendly being a new person in the area. Bar is sticky, the pool tables don't even work half the time, the draft beers are skunk and the mixed drinks are beyond acceptable and being cash only you may get the occasional rip off. It's a place where the men are drunks and the women are men."
"Went in with my girlfriend around 2 on a Saturday afternoon, bar tender was extremely rude and hostile for no reason maybe because we weren’t regulars, pretty sure the drinks we got had no alcohol in them. I love dive bars and it was a cool place but the bar tender could at least pretend to be half decent. She seemed like the kind of girl that only cares if your hammered and throwing money at her because you think she’s hot. Finished our one round of drinks and left. Maybe the nightlife there is better."
