"These guys used to be good but I see why they went out of business. They were stealing customers money for months. I brought in several pieces of equipment and they didn’t fix anything. Everything needed parts that were no longer available. Dropped off a turntable in August for a broken cartridge wire. Called 4 days before they closed for good and said they fixed the wire…they didn’t. Just made it look like it was fixed to get it out the door and keep the deposit. This is how they treated someone who was a customer for over 20 years. YOU GUYS ARE P.O.S!!"

"I don't usually write review on products or services, but I'm compelled to do so here. I found Atlantic Systems Electronics after a lengthy search on-line and by phone to find someone, anyone willing to look at my Accuphase E305 integrated amp which was loosing a channel periodically. No one would touch the thing until I found Paul at Atlantic. This amp would fail after hours of listening, so I was not sure it would "show the problem". Paul took on the task and started on the amp. I live in Rhode Island, so quite a hike to go the the shop. Paul found the issue, and he also upgraded my power cord to the USA version since it still had the european plug with a converter. I now enjoy my classic Accuphase, and thank goodness I found this place, and Paul. I hope places like this don't disappear as long as vintage equipment is popular with audiophiles."

"Previously I had brought my Teac receiver to another shop stating I could not get any sound. A friend recommended Atlantic Systems and I'm so happy he did. Professional work at a reasonable price and timely. I'm finally enjoying music again."

"Waste of time and poor service. Called and left a message with service questions. No response, so I eventually called back and asked my questions. Dropped off my turntable for wire repair. It was right before a holiday so I didn't expect it to be a quick return. Three weeks later I called and was advised that it's a 6-8 week turnaround due to the amount of work they had. Understandable, but should be advised upon when dropped off. Called three more weeks later, left message, no response. Called four days later and "Oh, it's damaged beyond repair." "For new wires?!" "Let me find out why.....*on hold for over five minutes because there weren't any notes on the repair order*...they don't know if the wires will fit in the tone arm" "Did they even try?!" "No. It would take awhile and it doesn't seem worth it." So Atlantic determined my turntable, and money, not worth it. I immediately picked it up and drove 10 minutes down the road to another shop and the shop's owner/tech took a look. We talked for awhile and he told me that it's likely going to take 2-3 hours of repair and quoted me an estimate, but unfortunately has a 6-8 month backlog of orders and repairs. I will wait however long it takes to work with this new shop because they clearly have the knowledge and professionalism that Atlantic does not. I'll update this review when my work is complete with the other shop and share their name, but for now know that working with Atlantic is not worth your time."
