"My go to spot for walks, biking, swims in the river, and picnics. This place has it all. Get out there and explore. Lots of small trails and large trails. Some good single track. Great for any outdoor time. Can get busy on a nice weekend on the main paths. But the park is huge and has space for everyone."
"The splash pad is great for kids of any age, even the big kids (the parents haha). The water features are running but the shallow pool is dry because they don't have a lifeguard for it. I'd say bring a picnic set up because there's shade along the edges of the fenced in area. Perfect place to have some lunch and cool the kids off."
"Loved this unique event venue. Very cozy and well maintained for the small weddings ( upto 300 guests) Rustic charm facade and old world wooden charm interior. Several rooms to sit and hangout with the guests and family. Wish we could explore their gardens"
"great place for walking, running, biking, kayaking, canoeing, stargazing, or having a picnic. lots of frogs, turtles, birds, and deer to see. it can get a bit hot and buggy in the summer but more deer come out at dusk anyway. awesome foliage in the fall!"
"Yesterday was the 1st time visiting. It's free to visit until Memorial Day. Then there are fees. Something like $5 to park per day or they have bundle packages. If you are from out of state the prices get exuberantly expensive!! The park has a wide variety of trails. Also a water (park) area for kids. Plenty of picnic areas, tables & spots to cook. If you are looking for a place to cool off with the kids or go for a hike/ take in nature? This state park is perfect."
