"Midas quoted me over $600 on a repair. I brought it to Rick and he fixed it and updated my sticker in one morning for $350. I will be bringing my vehicle to him again whenever there is problems."
"Rick went right thru the vehicle, did a great job!!"
"Quality work at a fair price"
"I've been going to Ricks now for almost 9 years. He has always been very descriptive and detailed in all of his work we've had done or had him give us a quote for and if the job was to big for him he'll give you the names of local places to go to first and tell you how much the work should come out to. ( this was only after he couldn't find and fix the AC leak in my van). Other than that I have never had a problem with his work or his prices. Definitely one of Fairhavens gems. the best small town mechanic around."
"Brought my car to Rick’s in November of 2017 because the emission light was on. Dropped it off at 8 AM. Rick called later in the day and told my husband what was wrong, what he replaced, and that the price was $375.00. Picked the car up a little after 5 PM (the business was closed). Dropped the payment check in the slot in the door and started the car up. THE EMISSION LIGHT IS STILL ON! Pull out of the business and pull over and call my husband. Retrieve the receipt for the repair that Rick had left in the driver’s side visor – NO breakdown of parts replaced and their prices, or the amount for labor, just “parts and labor $375”. What good is that? Then I notice my cup holder is open (I keep them closed), my radio station has been changed, my seat position has been adjusted, and MY CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN 65 MILES! Unbelievable! The next morning my husband calls Rick. Rick says in over 10 years we are the first people to request an “itemized” repair receipt. Really? Then he says he drove my car from Fairhaven to Wareham TWICE while checking on something for my car. (I forget exactly what he said he was checking on.) Totally unacceptable. Never going back!"
