"I am the owner of a 2017 GMC Sierra 6.2 L Pick up. The truck has a known issue with the 8 speed transmission that GM has been litigated against where the transmission shudders, along with collapsed lifters due to GMs AFM system being faulty. Last year I brought the truck in right before the warranty lapsed. They performed a transmission flush which is noted as a possible fix for the shuddering in the trans. It smoothed it out temporarily long enough for the warranty to lapse. Might be the only person on the planet not to get notified for extending my warranty (convenient these issues surface toward the end of your warranty). I brought the truck in today to ask them about having them simply reflush the transmission. I did not disclose the fact that I already know about the class action lawsuits or the fact there is a GM service bulletin pertaining to the issue. At no point prior to me divulging this knowledge did they look up the bulletin which I know they are aware of since at least last year. The bulletin also mentions that a torque converter swap is also the secondary fix for this issue. That advice also was not mentioned. The service representative instead wanted to charge me $250 to diagnose the issue then to reflush it would cost another $125. No mention of the torque converter. They were willing to skip the diagnoses and just flush the transmission for the $125. Without changing out the converter I would most assuredly be right back in another 10k miles. They appear to have no issue with repeatedly charging customers for an issue that has a known solution. The representative went to his manager when I brought up the service bulletin. Instead of coming clean and rectifying the situation by merely advocating for me to GM on an issue they know about. The manager proceeds to tell me because I’m out of warranty, I need to go it alone against GM but not before saying they would still diagnose the issue to “help” if I’m willing to pay the $250. Shady AF! Id think twice before going to them for anything not under warranty. I will be filing a better business complaint and pursuing methods to ensure potential customers are aware of their business practices. Oh and the technical service bulletin covering just the transmission is TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) 18-NA-355. For warranty work they are exemplary due to laws protecting you the consumer. But they don’t stand for their product in the long run. I should note, they also didn’t bring up the known issue with the AFM system and lifters issue. I’m sure that’s just another method to steal from their out of warranty customers. Buyer beware!"
"I’d give negative stars if I could. I went here for part I asked the guy multiple times if I was to order it I could return it. Being a 200$ part I asked three times. Each time I was informed I could return it no problem. It was after 330 when I ordered it so it wouldnt be put in until the next day. So the next day I found it somewhere else in stock since I needed the part ASAP I went and got it. I go back here to return the part and a different guy started giving me a hard time saying no we don’t return parts. Well that’s funny because I asked multiple times otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it to begin with. The guy decides to tell me well the misunderstanding is you could if it didn’t fit right not if you found it somewhere else. Well I didn’t ask if I could return it if it didn’t fit right. I said can I return it! After about 10 mins of this they finally returned my money. Not only wasted two days because the day before the kid that helped was hot helpful at all like he didn’t even want to be there. He was rude and just wanted us to leave. Needless to say after all this I’ll NEVER do business here again and I’ll NEVER send anyone here again."
"I went down to look at a 2016 chevrolet equinox and was told by employer and general manager that I had to pay $400.00 for a certified gm warranty, five minutes later they dropped the price to $200.00, they told me I was getting a great deal because they only had to provide a 30 day warranty by law because it was a used vehicle. Myself doing further research on this vehicle, I found out that the vehicle still had one year/12,000 mile additional certified pre-owned bumper to bumper limited warranty. With remaining Extended factory backed power train limited warranty(6 Years /100,000 miles. I brought this to the sales person John attention he proceeded to tell me that at the time that i was going to purchase vehicle it was not yet certified, but he emailed me twice and called me three times, and never informed me about this issue, until I brought it to his attention, did not apologize for the mistake they made or tried to offer me anything in return besides telling me if i want to buy the car come buy it, or if I don't than don't. SO WHO EVER GOES HEAR TO BUY A CAR I WOULD DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE WALKING IN THEIR DOOR. I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. SO GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE."
"My very poor rating has to do with the service center. It took them a long time to diagnose the problems and fix them. If I was not assertive, things really would have not been good. I cannot say if my experience is representative of there service overall. My husband and I were very unhappy. I don't like to give a bad review...but I can only speak about my experience. I don't believe they have master level technicians. I wonder what back ground the service people have. My warranty limited me to go to Cerrone dealership only. I Know when I bought my vehicle I asked people about the service and they said it was very good. So...."
"The first time I came here was for an oil change. I scheduled an appointment on the website for 6pm. When I showed up, they told me they do not schedule anything after 5pm because they close at 7pm, but they would make an exception for me since I was already there. Thanks. Then when they finished an hour later they told me they had spilled oil on my exhaust so not to worry if I smelled burning oil. Thanks again. The second time I came here was for scheduled maintenance and oil change. This time there was no problem with scheduling. However, as I was leaving they told me they topped off all my fluids as is customary for scheduled maintenance appointments. A few days later I noticed I was out of wiper fluid, so I guess they forgot about possibly the most important fluid. Thanks. Overall not a terrible dealership but I expect a little more attention to detail when I pay the premium for going to a dealership over a local shop. At least they have a fancy free coffee machine in the waiting area."
