"The park is beautiful and a nice place to take a stroll. There's an old fort with a lighthouse on top and a very long pier you can walk out on. There are walking and cycling paths and a small beach. Now the bad. I paid to park because the sign said so. I paid over the phone by texting the number on the sign. They accepted my payment. I went to use the bathroom since it was a long ride and it was locked. I met a regular who told me they are always locked and there isn't a Porta potty or any other option. He also told me you don't have to pay to park this time of year but they don't tell you that and of course they accept the money. This is stealing in my book. The City of New Bedford is corrupt and should pay everyone back and put the dates on the signs or cover them completely."

"It’s got everything a beach, walking trail, a park, fort, two lighthouses, is dog,kid and elderly friendly,great sunset views and free parking in the winter. Just gorgeous."
