Reviews
"Lovely exhibits and staff people were very friendly. Great for all ages since theres a great variety of activities to engage with. Theres hands on to reading to looking to watching. Also a wonderful view from the stairwell towards the end."
"Great learning experience. Realization that people worked in these appalling conditions not so long ago was worth the trip. Audio-visual presentations added to the visit as did the many artifacts. Testimony of survivors explaining what a difference the advent of unions made could be eyeopening for many visitors."
"Really, really cool spot. I was the only person there & got to talk 1 on 1 with one of the people who maintains the cotton looms. Fascinating, interesting & well worth the price of admission. Buddy, thanks for spending at least an hour explains the entire process to me. A highlight of my entire vacation."
"Great museum about the process of making making cloth from cotton and the machinery used for it. Seeing the mill floor with looms operating is very cool (can't imagine how loud it was when all the looms were running...)."
"Pretty cool to see portions of the old mill in action. $6 to enter the museum. The main floor looms are fairly loud, upstairs there are more exhibits on Lowell and the history of the mill. Beautifuly restored buildings and mostly apartments now, be sure to walk down to the river and enjoy the Riverwalk."
