"The original playground was 1000x better, this new one is unbelievably disappointing and unsafe. I realize technically that bridge is not made for little kids but if you have kids with older siblings then you understand it's impossible to force them NOT to follow their big siblings. And even if my of age children were on that bridge they would fall all the way to the ground. There is NO safety guard under the first rope nor between the bar and bridge. My 3 kids were bored 5 mins after being there, we used to have to take them home kicking and screaming because they wouldn't want to leave."
"I love this park.. Great view of the beach as well as beautiful baseball field and basketball Court. Me and the kids come down to the baseball field from time to time. They have a wonderful children's playground adjacent to the Beach with a public bathroom during the summer season, and plenty of public parking."
"It's a nice park with the lake, they recently remodelled the playground and it's not as fun as before. But for me the main issue is there are no bathrooms! They have bathrooms but they only open them when there are lifeguards on duty for 2 months out of the year. What about the rest of the year or hours of the day? People still need to use them, they should have a portable potty at least if they can't open the bathrooms, this makes it very inconvinient to go there, especially with children!"
"Do NOT bring your kids here! It used to be an amazing castle with fun for all ages of kid, even teenagers! Now it's been demoted to a generic toddler playground. I have never been so disappointed in a place to bring my kids. My daughter is literally in the car crying right now."
"New Review: I'm updating because it had changed drastically! It's sad the old wooden set is completely gone. However, it is now much safer and friendly for more ages of children. Has older and toddler equipment and it is now fenced in with only one exit/entrance, so kids can't as easily access the lake. Also, much more accessible now with paths, picnic tables, and equipment for people with different abilities. Much appreciated. Old Review: Toddler equipment is lacking, but great for older kids. Don't love that the kids can run from the playground right to the water if they want. Minimal parking. Overall a great park and seemed clean and well kept."
