"Generally, I like this store. It is clean, good hours, typical products. Recently we purchased a fridge, quite expensive. Ordered and picked up in store. The way it was wrapped you couldn't see any of the fridge. Got home, unloaded truck, opened it... wrong fridge. Different brand, not as nice. I called and told them, confirmed they had the right one and then drove the 30 min back to exchange it. This is where I got annoyed. They weren't ready with the right one. Waited nearly 20 minutes for someone to help and when I asked to speak with a manager the manager Anthony wanted to know why I wanted to speak with him before coming to the front. Why?? Are you kidding. When a customer asks to speak with you as a manager you go, you dont wait to see if it's worth your walk. Next time I'll go to home depot"
"Never never ever buy Samsung products from Lowe's. Bought my bespoke fridge 8 months ago with a rebate for designer panels to customize the unit. 8 months later they were still rejecting it saying the panels weren't available in my area and my rebate had expired. I then bought the panels using my own money and they were delivered in 6 days. I went to Lowe's to get a store credit because they sold me a product with a scam rebate and the manager said he could get me a new code after I had spent the money. But he wasn't willing to credit me and fight with the vendor about their service or lack of. I spent 430. To finish my fridge so I could move on and start my next house. I will not by any products from Lowe's because when it comes to supporting their customers they just wash their hands of it. When I told the manager I had 2 more house left to build and they were going to lose my business he didnt even care. Don't buy anything from Lowe's, they just don't care about customer service."
"I ordered my new washing machine nearly 2 weeks ago and I have been unable to get a live person on the phone to find out where it is. They were quick to take the funds out of my account but now I am backed up 3 loads. Also, I paid $50 extra to dispose of old washer and despite a Military Discount I was advised they don't give discounts on Appliances. I shop here all the time for all my needs however if I don't get my washer tomorrow I will request a Refund and purchase somewhere else."
"Stay Away from Lowes Installation services. The sales person (W*****m O*****i) promised many items that he could not confirm. I purchased a 2 job fence installation which was quoted in 4 separate jobs. Sales claimed its a 1 day job but was actually a 3 day job. Each job had a removal and disposal fee that sales claimed would be refunded if it was not needed. Only one of the job fees was refunded. The delivery of product was scheduled for June 16th. 2023. The delivery of product did not arrive until June 17th. Delivery happened without notice and damage was done to my lawn from the delivery driver. The job was scheduled for June 19th, 2023. The install did not start until June 28th. The contractor points the finger at Lowes for incorrectly scheduling the install date and Lowes points the finger at the contractor for not getting an update from the contractor confirming the install date. When i called Lowes to confirm install on the 19th after delivery of product on the 17th, they informed me the install date was the 28th. I received a call later that day from the local Rochester store manager (A*y) wanting to confirm delivery because she stated install was delayed due to product not being delivered on time. She hung up the phone on me after i confirmed delivery before i was able to ask any further questions. The contractor (D**e R***t F****e LLC) took 6 days to complete the job. The job lacked the the experience for a fence install. Cuts are rough and uneven. Boards are not aligned properly. Some boards were left partially un-nailed. One of the door hinges is missing a piece. I managed to get Lowes to call the contractor discuss my issues and correct but the contractor stated, and i quote" I'm willing to fix it but there is no way to fix it""
"I went to Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Rochester, NH yesterday for several items, but mostly for a stepladder that was adequate for helping me load two 50-pound kayaks to the roof of my SUV. I need one tall enough to reach over the rooftop but wasn’t too steep of an incline on the front side to keep from falling backwards and not too steep of an incline on the backside so as to keep me close to the side of the car without a long reach. Before I purchased, I asked about refund policy - - it was easy. If it didn’t work for the purpose that I needed it for, then just return it. Bought Werner 4 foot for $52.98. I tried it today and it worked just fine - - ladder is sturdy."
