"Went there today January 2nd to return some shoes. The kid yelled at me said I couldn't return them. Proceeded to swear at me the f-bomb the b-bom and kicked me out of his store instead of calling the manager and asking if he could do the exchange. Yeah, that's what I dealt with in the Rochester New Hampshire, the shoe department. What kind of people do you hire? Seriously called headquarters on you. That's that"
"Went in today, and while I was looking around for the "socks" to try on a pair of shoes, one of the employees apparently thought I was trying to steal so she came over and "nonchalantly" started straightening shoes near me staring me down(instead of asking if i needed anything), and when I went down a different isle she would move to watch me, like I'm a criminal. I've gotten many shoes from here as I had plenty of rewards to almost cover the cost of the shoes I bought. Maybe don't stereotype your customers, and make them feel like they cant shop without being judged for absolutelyno reason. Today was the last time I'll buy a pair of shoes from this store. Also I'm assuming the manager cashed us out, sadly she seemed like she either hates her job/life, or just has extreme RBF."
"If I could give a zero I would. Shoes in wrong boxes. No public restrooms when there used to be for my child to use. Was in the store 20 minutes was not approached once to offer help while two employees just stood at the counter. Worst of all my child knocked over a couple of display shoes and the store manager rudely said after not even a minute "you're gonna pick those up right?" I will never give this store my business again. I'll just go to their competition a minute down the road Famous Footwear they maybe a little more expensive but at least they are friendly and helpful."
"I just left their store in Rochester, New Hampshire. A woman named Joy, supposed to be the manager was very rude to me and my mother. After we had already been there for 30 minutes she informed me that I needed to put a sock on to try on the shoes. They were not visible to see...I told her I had already been there for a while. Sorry. She continued to be rude to us even as ringing up four pair of shoes which I could have bought anywhere. I'm not sure what her problem was. Maybe she was having a bad day but I would never treat one of my customers like that as a store owner. The shoes seem to be reasonable, however. I hope that she has a better day sorry you were unhappy at work today Joy!!? You should never treat a customer like that. However, not when you can go to a lot of other places."
"Shoe Dept. is across the highway rt11 from Walmart. I went there first and couldn't find a shoe in my size and the quality I was looking for. The Shoe Dept. has all the brand names (Nike, Timberland etc.) and many other brands I have never heard of. I quickly and easily found what i was looking for, I ended up buying 2 pair, a sneaker type and trail blazing type shoes. Like most retailers, they are short handed and looking for help, but the employee that helped me did a good job multitasking and I was out of there in minutes. They have expensive shoes and they have non-expensive shoes. There was a child there looking for the shoes that baby Yoda wears. If you're looking for shoes, this is the place."
