Reviews of Chebeague Island ferry
"Highly recommend. Far better than swimming, even on nice days, especially if you've gone shopping. Great way to get to the island. Also, a great way to return from the island. They even heat the little shack now. Addendum: Do yourself and everyone else a favor and read the signs and listen to the crew so you don't do something stupid and/or dangerous. Either that or maybe get your own boat."
"Great boat trip. Google maps consistently sent us to the wrong location. A call to the office made it right"
"It's a great way to get to the island! The employees, and almost everyone you'll meet riding the ferry, and on the island, are super friendly! The bus brings you from the parking lot to the ferry, and you have the choice of sitting inside, on the upper deck, or on the bow deck when you're on the ferry. I recommend the bow deck, if it isn't busy! They are also very accommodating of bikes and other baggage on the bus and ferry."
"Need to park, jump on the bus, jump on the ferry and the land on Chebeague Island. Then when you are all done, get to the landing, jump on the Ferry, Bus and head home (that last part, 37 min landing to parking lot). Parking was $15 a day and the round trip ticket for the Ferry was $15 (maybe wrong but not to far off). It's a super savings if you want to eat or stay at Chebeague Inn, which we did. Would do again!"
"Excellent service! Great people! Made a special trip to get us to Chabeague Island instead of making us wait 45 minutes. Beautiful boat & a lovely ride."
