McDonald's 332 Saint John Street, Portland, ME 04102

"So visiting for a Hockey game came to eat and there were multiple problems health code violations and safety violations in this building. Start at the top, the signs say sit and be served that’s why we grab a number and a table. When food was ready they came to find us to have us collect our food. Problem is that’s not the way it is suppose to be and should be recognized as training issues. The big deal is that emergency exits were all blocked with trash cans and high chairs. This is a City Violation. The bathrooms have automatic locks on them and we were given an issue to use these bathrooms, they were also as dirty as they come, Pubic hairs all through the sinks and nasty to touch! This place needs management attention, none of the employees do as they are suppose to. Another big this is you need a cashier and your customer service needs to be the same from every individual. People have to use the kiosk to order, but if you have cash you turn and use the cashier, well your cashier twice denied customers to take an order cause she was busy told the to use the kiosk but all they had was cash! I know things are changing but not business never changes it’s except the business or get fired! I’ll be coming down this week to speak with management about this situation, along with forwarding this to the city of Portland to ensure they get things straightened out."

"When visiting taking my kids to Disney event normally Mcdonald's is a fast go to. This wasn't the case on Dec 24 2023. We sat in line waiting while multiple cars passed us in the other line. Calling out, with no response to the speaker. We pulled forward to try and order from the window and that's not a thing at this specific location. The female manager said that it was due to high traffic in the store that they couldn't get to our line, but somehow didn't forget the other line. Upon hearing that, I said "don't worry, since I can't order at the window I'll come inside to order to see how busy it is". Parked, walked in and to my suprise there was 1 person in line and only 2 smaller family's sitting down (1 eating and 1 waiting for food). Seems to me that they prioritized having the drive thru worker restock things and left customers unattended. This store seemed either 1) Understaffed or 2) Not managed properly. I sat at the ordering speaker for 15 minutes with no response and at the window for 10 minutes before a employee opened it."

"The fanciest McDonald's I've ever been to. It appeared clean and well taken care of, it had kiosks to buy from so no human interaction when you're Just Tol Tired (like after moving all day, which I was), and the food came out very fast and was all correct and delicious."

"Cannot reach anyone at this location. They have been very rude multiple times I’ve showed up to get food and most recently. I had to have my food re-delivered three times because they kept on putting mustard and pickles on my double quarter pounder I am highly allergic to mustard, and they would not comp me, or doing anything, had to resort to DoorDash to get help. Do not recommend going here unless you’re going in person I’ve had too many order issues being delivered. If you go to this location be prepared to be dealing with a very rude manager and associates. Also, this place is not kept clean. I have a friend who works in the rodent industry and have gotten multiple rodent calls"

"Part of the staff is friendly but most of them unfortunately aren’t friendly, don’t want to be there and you can tell by how they talk and act. I live close to here so I come whenever I’m craving fast food. And it is definitely good enough to keep coming back. If more of the staff had a personality or positive attitude it would probably have gotten 5 stars but I get it at the same time why they wouldn’t."
