"Not many Mexican places in Maine are very good. This is my first time here and I have to say, it was pretty dang good. Right from the chips and salsa to the very last bite. If your into street tacos then this is one place your going to want to try. The food has plenty of flavor and just what you would expect or more. The prices are very good and the portions are very well. I plant to visit the other locations but from what I hear they are all great places."

"Good food…Terrible service I have eaten here now at least five times. The food has been consistently good & the service consistently bad The staff will come and bring drinks and take your order and then you never see them again. Your food comes out with a different staff person. There is no refilling of beverages. No refilling of tortilla chips/salsa. I was in the restaurant today with about four tables seated in the whole place and again no service after the initial order taking. I don’t know what the wait staff are doing at this place but they’re not waiting on tables. In my opinion, an excellent restaurant is all about the service. Frankly most places can make decent Mexican food, you’ve got to have good service to go along with the meal. I cannot recommend this place due to its consistently poor service, Adios El Rodeo SoPo!"

"We love to visit El Rodeo when we are in the Portland area. They have killer burritos(the Burro Grande is the best!). The birria tacos are delicious, too. The service is always fantastic and the environment is lively. We love having dinner here! A+++++++"

"This place is really great. For starters they give complimentary tortilla chips and salsa which they refill once over. Ordered special dinner, shrimp taco and fresh guacamole. The shrimp taco was really good and fresh. For the guac, they made it in front of us on the cart, they put three fresh Avocados with lime, cilantro and other asked for ingredients and served it in the earthen bowl. That was one of the best gauc I have had so far. The dinner plate was average in taste, the quantity is more than enough for two people."

"The restaurant atmosphere was wonderful. The drinks were good and the food was hot. The waiter had so many clients so we had to wait a little longer to get his attention but overall we had a good experience."
