"Great experience ! Went in seeking a special 70th birthday gift for a friend . The gentleman who was behind the counter gave me a full tour of the environmentally controlled room they keep their cigars in. I also was able to inspect the locked case of higher end products which I purchased from. He went on to select a cigar box from his collection for me to gift the items I chose with detailed instructions for proper storage. Very happy with my experience! In the past, I got cigar boxes here for my cub scout den. This is a friendly and helpful establishment."

"Castros is one of those hidden gems that locals know about and everyone else seems to pass over. I've been going to Castros for over 15 years anytime I'm in town and it never disappoints. A great selection of sticks and knowledgeable staff. A very laid back place to catch a game or have a drink while puffing a great cigar. Everyone should treat themselves to a trip here!"

Eric who runs the place is very knowledgeable and welcoming his recommendations on some if finest of cigars from the New England area. Both times when I was up this way for work I've had wonderful experiences here. The patrons are great people, some who have shared some nice genuine scotch with me.
