"I don't usually right reviews but I was blown away by how patient, kind and knowledgeable the service we received at Maco's was. I have little kids who love to fish with their grandfather in lakes. We came to Cape Cod without Grandpa but they still wanted to fish -- and I have super limited knowledge about fishing and this was saltwater, not fresh. I told the gentleman at Maco's all this and he set us right up -- got us the correct bait, hooks, sinkers, gear, and even set it up right for us and taught me (your basic clueless suburban soccer mom) how to put it all together and how to cut up a squid for bait. And it worked! He told us we could catch bass and scup just fishing of off bridges or docks on Buzzards Bay -- AND WE DID! Lots of them! We took their pictures and named them and put them back in the water. The kids were so thrilled. He made it so easy for our family to have a lovely day on the water together. I'm so grateful to the exceedingly sweet salesman who helped us out. I wish I had gotten his name so I could acknowledge him properly. If you need advice and guidance as well as fishing gear, this is your place!"
