"Great store w/ unprofessional & uneducated "managers." I personally love Carters. I went shopping, purchased some items w/ my debit card. The next day, these items were to be returned. Unused. Unworn. Tags still in tact. Original sales receipt. Store employees informed me that my debit card needed to be present to complete the return transaction, if not, I'd be issued store credit (which I didn't want). This is only true when using a credit card that isn't present at the time of return. Not w/ a debit card. Debit is to be treated the same as cash. After hearing this, I requested to speak to the store manager. Luckily, both of the employees that I was dealing with were the managers. So, these "managers" aren't trained to handle a simple return?? They both don't know their stores own return policy?? I asked for corporates number. I contacted corporate to clarify that debit was more or less to be treated as cash and that I didn't have to accept store credit. Needless to say that Jenn & Lachelle, the managers, need to be retrained on your company policies & and an extra course on basic, custom service wouldn't hurt. Very unnecessary & very bad to have mangers as such represent a great brand."
