"They try to sell you " recommended services" that aren't necessary! All dealers do, but I was told, after the technician looked over my car, that I needed new tires and an all wheel alignment! That's what they told me on the last oil change and I got new tires and alignment the next day at Town Fair Tire. I guess it was still in their computer so they said I needed it done! BUT AFTER THE TECHNICIAN LOOKED OVER THE CAR? Sorry but I lost respect for this dealership!"
"We want to sing the praises for Herb in Service! We were visiting in the area for a wedding and the splash shield under our Escape came loose and was dangling under the car, on a Saturday! We took it by Ira Ford Saco Service and were greeted by Herb. He quickly had it looked at and resolved the issue for us. A great relief as we prepare to drive home to Colorado! Kind, friendly, efficient service is a wonderful thing -- thank you Herb and Ira Ford Saco!! We are grateful."
"I had my car towed to Ira because both of the other Ford dealers in the area have let me down. Long story short, I ended up having rodent damage. Chewed wires. About $1250 worth. The techs in the shop gave me back a vehicle that ran perfectly, and they not only fixed the damage but cleaned the engine compartment to evict any stragglers. It looks brand new. According to my insurance adjuster, the timeframe and price were a little on the high side but not unreasonable. So, the job itself was perfect. So then why the 3-Star rating? Because between you and those talented techs is a service manager, or leader, or whatever they call him. He called himself Keith. Keith's job is to communicate with the customer and deal with pricing. Keith is, essentially, your only point of contact. Keith's communication was okay. By Rowe Ford standards he's a rockstar. When they figured out what was wrong, however, Keith let me down. I would imagine that most vehicles running through a Ford dealer are financed, and therefore carry full coverage. While it's not Keith's job to check my coverage, it is his job to look out for the customer's best interest. Instead, Keith offered me a $500 transmission flush not due on my 45K mile car for another...45K miles, and convenient financing. I also need rear brake pads, for a reasonable $400. Rather than saying, "this might be covered under your insurance," Keith tried to rob me of $500. I get the cost of the brakes. You're a dealer. Whatever. I'll get them done at a regular mechanic for half that. But you lost all of your credibility with that flush nonsense. I was waiting for you to offer me an undercoating. My powertrain warranmty isn't even up yet FFS. Great job, techs. Big fail, Keith. You'll be the reason I don't come back, which is very, very sad."
"I had a Works package completed for my ford F150, which includes a 99 point inspection, topping off of all fluids, changing the oil and a tire rotation. After leaving the dealership I noticed my tail light was still not working and my washer fluid light was still on. I had to pull over because of the smell of burning oil, when I did, I popped the hood and saw that oil was spilled on my engine. My 5 YO could've done better. Where is this in the 99 point inspection and top off all fluids for $78. I waited 2 hours for a half done service. what eIse did they not do? Will not bring my ford F150 back to this scam of a dealership. someone else will get my money and new vehicles. This is a 40k$ new, PLEASE treat it as such !"
"Wife and I travel full-time in our 5th wheel. Last campground we had chipmunks get into the engine bay of our 2020 F350 and chewed and damaged several wires and components. We called Herb Johnson in the service department and he took care of us. We had a tight time line in which to get this completed. Herb and his crew did a fantastic job. Thank you so much."
