"The pharmacy! The lady there straight up lies. I obtained a SPINAL CORD injury and she REFUSED to give me my RX. She asked me my name, I told her, she grabbed the meds… and then said that I couldn’t have them.! She refused to look up my ins info… she , instead, insisted that I didn’t have any ins.( I do) It was ultimately resolved by a different pharmacist the next day ( today) My file was easily accessible by looking up my last name… but I had to go home and wait 15 hours , not to mention I had to GO BACK with a broken back!!! Causing ever MORE damage to my injury! Not only was that woman’s behaviour unprofessional and discriminatory, but incredibly dangerous. Zero FKN stars hannaford. But maybe a lawsuit, as I see I’m not the only one who’s had this problem…. ."
"This is my go-to grocery store. My favorite one is in Dover, NH, but that's an hour commute. This one, however, has booze you can purchase, unlike the Dover store. I'm always pleased with the produce department, the meat, and the fish departments. The variety and quality are always there. The staff is always courteous, and I have had good experiences here."
"The Waterboro Hannaford is "my" store. The employees are helpful. The produce manager actually took time to talk with me & taught me things. As a rule the bathroom is clean. The fish department often smells fishy. Fresh fish doesn't stink. Before buying fish I ask to smell it & the fish I smelt wasn't stinky. Love their return policy. There's never been a problem."
"Hannaford never disappoints us. Always clean, Producee fresh and lots of variety of veggetables. Clean aisles and friendly staff. Plenty of parking in their large parking lot."
"The store is always clean, well maintained and well stocked. The staff is helpful and friendly, making the shopping experience pleasant and welcoming. Parking is very easy and there is lots available. Sometimes there is an unnecessarily long wait in line at the pharmacy, but all other checkouts run quickly and smoothly. My only real criticism is that I find the prices to be higher than my favorite, the Market Basket. Through no fault of theirs, there are some shortages caused by supply chain issues as of April, 2020 so it's not always possible to find shelves well stocked. I'm very disappointed that their app's coupons don't always register at the checkout after they've been clipped. Cashiers explain that it sometimes takes 24 hours for clipped coupons to be activated. That is ridiculous!"
