"Expensive, and did not do a good job. Called in advance to speak with maintenance person, and instead was forced to speak with incompetent front person. Bike was dirty, looked barely oiled, tires were deflated, and I had issues afterwards with derailleur. They call that a tune up! Seems like their goal is to just take your money with no care or real service/advice."
"I went in for a full tune-up on my 19 year old Orbea (which I've loved every year of having). After a close pre-tune look at the bike we found some serious and potentially dangerous issues. There was no pressure put on me to buy a new bike or even take a look at possible replacement bikes, if I'd said to they would have gone ahead with the tune-up. I decided a new bike was what I needed to do and walked out an hour later with a LIV (Giant's women's line) bike that I love. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and informative, they're truly interested in helping the costumer get the right match for their preferences."
"They were great today! I stopped by with my daughter to get new bike lights and not only did I get great advice but also they installed them on the bike on the spot(it was not busy at the moment). Jamie (spell) noticed that my child’s bike seat is too low and offered to correct it. My daughter said it made a huge difference for her. Thank you for great service!"
"I love Landry’s. I purchased my first bike from them, then my second bike! I use them to service my bikes as well. They are timely and inform me in advance of how much the work will cost. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Great place to get a bike, have it fitted, or have it maintained!!!"
"The staff at Landry’s bicycle on Needham st, Newton are extremely nice, welcoming, polite, professional and provide the timely service. I was biking down the Newton Upper Falls and didn’t initially notice that it was crushed stones. I got a flat tire on my front tire on Specialized Roubaix Sport 2021 (my first time getting a flat tire on this bike), and walked my bike for about 7 minutes to this location. They handed in the bike to me and the flat tire fee was really low. They are closed to multiple shops and malls and dining services. I also really liked the bells they have and might consider to buy one for myself for extra safety. Since I have been a Landry’s Commonwealth customer, it was very nice to receive my receipt via email."
