"Man, this store brings back so many good memories for me. I was introduced to Carter’s (it was just Carter’s back then) as a middle schooler by my late uncle. He was a Timberland aficionado back in the day before the mainstream found them. Carter’s was THE place to buy Timberland back then. Literally, wall to wall, stacked to the ceiling with Timberland. It was my shoe paradise. After decades of being away, I decided I had to revisit the place as I was in need of new Timberlands after my 12 year old Euro Hikers finally quit on me recently. The store has changed a bit since my youth, as they’ve expanded to include clothing now, but I still was able to find a well-curated selection of my favorite brand. The price was right and service was the same friendly, personal service I remembered on so many visits during my youth. If you’re looking for a good selection of work/outdoor-related apparel at fair prices and good customer service, this is the spot."
