"We were at Rei to get a pair of snowboots for my son yesterday. Pat was extremely helpful and kind. I was a bit upset when I tried to pay for the boots. The cashier guy with no name tag forced me to get the membership which I dont really want. At the end when I asked for an email receipt, he said you WILL NOT get one because you are not enrolled in the membership rewards program. That is really weird to me. First time ever in my life experienced sth like this. No membership No email receipt. Hm... don't think we will come back for another pair though."
"Always a great experience at this REI location. Staff is always helpful."
"Thank you to everyone who helped me prepare for my Kilimanjaro trip! I was impressed by this shop's selection and all of the staff's guidance on what would work best for me. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and I especially enjoyed hearing some of their own stories about Tanzania!"
"REI is the only place who offers excellent and sturdy Italian made boots, which my husband is required to wear for work. These boots are very expensive and we buy them from REI once a year. The reason for three stars for this store and not five, is due to their “rewards program,” in which you only receive discounts is if you “pay for them,” so how is this a reward? Rent maybe high at this location, but they’re always busy and rarely is anything ever on sale. Bring the bank!"
"REI is generally a nice (if expensive) place to visit, but I thought this particular store was exceptional, and the staff were extremely helpful with all my random questions. They went out of their way to make sure I was getting the right things and even recommended cheaper alternatives to things."
