"Great atmosphere, tasty coffee/drinks, and extremely friendly owners and staff! My boyfriend and I came two days in a row and love the place already :) Definitely check them out! Update: I have been a regular since July and Cuppa Jo's is now my favorite local coffee shop! I am not a fan of bitter-tasting coffees, so I really love theirs. I always get my usual, hot latte with cinnamon and chocolate sprinkled on top, and with just that I am happy! At other places I cannot stand the flavor of their lattes without some flavor shots. On top of that, I love the atmosphere of the place! It is cute, inviting, and the perfect place to work on writing or other work. I wish they were open on Sundays and Mondays! They also offer great baked goods from local bakeries which are always tasty :) All in all, this place is wonderful and the owner, Jo, and her son and all the other staff are so kind and attentive! Don't forget to get a punch card!"
"This spot has potential, but needs a lot of improvements. I went with some friends and the minute we walked in, we wanted to walk out because the fluorescent lighting is terrible-- it feels like an office instead of a cozy coffee shop. But we decided to give it a shot and get some hot drinks...bad decision: the kids' hot chocolate tasted watered down - we could make it better with a store bought packet. The kids also had some of the baked goods that were not great: dry and almost stale tasting...better options at hannaford. My friend's espresso was really bad - he had a few sips and then dumped it out when we went outside. I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and it tasted like lukewarm water with a few chai spices sprinkled in. I brought it back to the counter and the other worker made me a new one. It was better, but still mediocre. He also gave me a free drink coupon, which was nice, but I don't know if I'll be returning anytime soon. I really hope this small business can make some adjustments and do well, but our experience wasn't good at all."
"This spot has a cute and cozy interior with windows overlooking lovely trees. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is just delicious! And very reasonably priced for the area."
"Pretty good coffee. Extremely nice staff. Coffee is not the strongest, but still tasty. I noticed other reviews talking about space left in the cup. They will always ask me if I want cream and leave space for it. If you don't want it they will fill the cup. It's just a matter of telling them what you want."
"This little gem of a coffee shop is a must when in Yarmouth, ME! The woman who started this thriving business is passionate about coffee and it shows. They do small batch coffee bean roasting on site which must be why the coffee is so amazing! Take some home to keep your enjoyment going. They also have home made trail mix, Greek yogurt parfait, and assorted bagels and pastries if your hungry. I enjoyed a latte with 3 shots. So wonderful..."
