Reviews
"Great store awesome owners and staff great service."
"All the beer is comically old. "Best by 2 years ago" old. Beer that says "keep cold" sitting on the shelves outside of the fridges. Beer that was canned multiple years ago. Nice employees, decent enough store, but I just can't deal with the ancient beer anymore."
"Been there several times between 1996 to 2010. Owner was really customer oriented. large variety of beers, alcohol and of course ''Maracuja''. Can't wait to be back in New Bedford to enjoy their excellent service. All the Best from your best customer from Quebec City, Canada."
"Good selection. Reasonable prices. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. It's a little out of my way, but I like to shop here if I'm bringing a bottle of wine or something with me to someone's house."
"The manager is abundantly disrespectful. There were signs over some beer coolers saying not to mix and match. I always respected that and their rules. Well today I bring a 6 pack with 5 of one beer and one of another, both of which were in coolers that never had these signs to the counter and get told with an unnecessarily nasty attitude that I'm not allowed to do this at all, that they've been looking for who's doing this and that I am costing them money doing this. Were it stated respectfully I wouldn't have thought twice and would have respectfully said ok but this was in the tone of someone scolding a small child for breaking something. I am then forcefully told that I have to return the one beer and get another of the same kind. Any self respecting retail employee would have apologized for the discrepancy and grabbed the beer for the customer. But with how nasty and demanding her tone was and the fact that she was talking to me as if I was at fault for this and not her employee who allowed it, I said well I hope you can update your signs as to not further inconvenience your customers. She then storms over to the cooler I was at and says "I am refusing you service, get out of my store, do you understand that English?" Needless to say they do not deserve anyone's business whatsoever with that sort of attitude toward their paying customers. My friends and family will now be going down the street to Fine Liquors. They are very nice and respectful and have a better selection."
