"The deli is great. I enjoyed the Italian sub; check their website for daily specials. $5 card minimum. Most everybody on staff is friendly and will engage in small talk while one pursues their transactions. To be honest, I feel very warm toward the majority of staff. I see a lot of reviews written by people who suggest the owner is unmannered, but I've seen no evidence to this effect. One can simply go into the store and exchange money for the goods being sold."

"I don’t throw this term around lightly but the man running this store was shockingly and aggressively racist towards my friends, and threw them out of the store upon looking at them. I felt ashamed to have brought them there and subject them to that in the 21st century. It reflected very poorly on what was an otherwise pleasant visit to the south shore. There are much better package stores in the immediate area with more interesting selections of Irish products and they don’t mistreat people for the color of their skin. I’m not surprised to see others corroborating my experience of the staff being small-minded and hateful, and it’s people like this who give our community a bad reputation. Weymouth can and does do better than this; I encourage people to not give these people their money or let them define the character of our community."

The employees have always been kind and helpful, and there’s a good variety of choices that change seasonally, as well as classic staples. "I've only been there once before but both times were a pleasant experience. I don't drink but went in to play keno mainly because there was a rainbow out which I haven't seen in a while. It has good selection, everything is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly and courteous and easy to get along with. The location is great right in Colombian Square and it has plenty of off street parking."
