"Love this place! Great sandwiches with crunchy veges, always fresh and well made. I honestly don’t get these reviews. Every meal I have gotten here has been great and I highly recommend the sandwiches."
"This location has really improved since I was here last. The service was great, the guy working the cash register was very friendly and food was ready when we got there. The food was put together well. The only complaint being that they forgot oil on the side but luckily we had some at home. From 2020-2022 they seemed to struggle with staffing so it reflected the customer service and I believe thats why the reviews don't reflect the current experience."
"I’m a huge fan of Amato’s, but this Westbrook location is a disaster. We’ve stopped here a few times since March of this year and each time it just got worse. We came in last month and were so disgusted that we will no longer stop at this one. The woman cashier was rude, interrupted us while trying to tell our order, didn’t let me even finish before moving on to the next item and had a permanent scowl on her face. My sandwich was made to the order I could give, but when I unwrapped it, it was a mess. Whoever made it slapped a bunch of tomatoes on, barely anything else and then when it was wrapped, they dug their fingers into it making it not even look like a sandwich. Won’t recommend here again."
"$21 dollars for a Lobster roll that is little, meanwhile some other places have lobster rolls on sub rolls filled with meat, will not order this from there again."
