Reviews
"Relatively small but nice wine store with a good selection of Californian wines. Convenient downtown location."
"We visited 2-3 weeks ago, The clerk that tall and wearing glasses is so kind and professional. We asked to find Rumchata and he was very sorry about being out of stock and told us about other stores where we could find Rumchata. This is one of the warmest experiences of my honeymoon travel."
"A great neighborhood spot. Everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly. They are super knowledgable and will get really geeky about food pairings or the sharing information about the items that they have in stock. Their events are wonderful as well, they partner with other businesses and do events on their rooftop every month or so. Love this place!"
"Eno Fine Wines is a special spot conveniently located on Westminster in downtown Providence. I love stopping here on Fridays after work before I head home to my boring suburban mom life. The shop is cozy and charming and never lacks in variety. They always have the standards, plus my favorite special spirits and wines, and plenty of new stuff I can't wait to try on my next visit. The staff is friendly, helpful, and non judgmental when I ask dumb questions about wine. It's so nice to have a welcoming place to shop for spirits in the middle of the city!"
"I agree with the other reviews- employees are cold. They’ve never been particularly nice, but recently it was a new level. My sister was in town (she’s 21, I am 24) and she wanted Prosecco to make with a cocktail. We had been out shopping nearby, and I had brought my purse without remembering I had changed out my wallet the day before and was without my ID and one of my credit cards. No big deal I thought…I’m not buying alcohol…and (maybe, sadly) I’m never carded anymore. We arrive here and my sister tries to purchase Prosecco but the sales woman will not sell to my younger sister (who is of age and had shown her ID) unless I also show my ID. It is her legal right to card anyone in the store, I’ve just never actually experienced that level of rudeness before. It was humiliating how the clerk was talking down to me in-front of other customers, and felt especially rude given that I’m a regular at the store. She was on a power trip, and decided that afternoon to treat a 24-yr-old regular…who wasn’t purchasing alcohol…like a criminal. It’s also silly that if my sister walked into the store without me she would have been able to get her drink, but because her older sister went into the store with her she was denied the sale despite being of legal age and with an ID. I will absolutely never go back. If you’re looking for a great wine spot, try Bottles Fine Wine in Wayland Square. They have a wide selection and are extremely helpful."
