"A lot of their beer is expired. I was there today, they had a bunch of 12 packs of the Sierra Nevada mixed that was bottled in January, Sierra Nevada only has a shelf life of 150 days and that was basically 3 months ago. They also had a six pack of Rouge Dead Guy ale in cans that was canned in 2022, so that has been expired for over a year. They obviously don't rotate or check their product, and they would rather sell you expired product than put forth the effort to do their job the right way. I will be posting photos soon."
"Long time fan of IM Gan but do want to offer some feedback on recent changes. I’m local and happily support the store as they also have one of the better selections in the area. However in the past few years with more and more brands, especially canned beer, there - dare I say - seems to be too much. This has been compounded by the recent pre-mixed drinks, hard seltzers etc. It’s great that shoppers have more choices, yet the store clearly doesn’t have the space for all this new inventory. I’ve sadly taken to avoiding IM Gan simply because it’s far too confusing and difficult to find specific brands or drinks. Merchandise is mixed up in aisles where it used to be just beer but is now a confusing array of cans of some beer, some seltzer, some hard drinks. Want a premixed margarita in a can? They’re spread out over 3 aisles and some end caps. I honestly can’t tell where one type of drinks ends or begins. I’ll also add, that while I understand their decision to break up six packs and sell them as double and triple priced singles, there have been far too many times, I’ve been searching for my favorite drinks only to find six of them as singles, marked up to 3 bucks ea. So if I indeed want that drink, I’ll have to pay an extra 5 bucks for 6. Most of all, I would hope that with all the recent new beverages, they really take the time to organize the selections and make shopping there a less confusing and sometimes frustrating experience. Other than that employees are always great, helpful and checkouts are quick."
