"Don’t get prepackaged deli meat from here. I grabbed prepackaged land o lakes white American cheese and when I opened the package it was generic rubber American cheese that had no texture or flavor. I specifically only get land o lakes for that reason. I never had a problem ordering it right from the deli. The store is clean and employees are nice. Not sure if the direction of swapping out the label is per direction of management but it’s really annoying that it is being done."

"WARNING! Be careful using this stores gas station. The employees that work at this particular station charge your card exact amounts. For example, I went there just to top off my tank and the clerk tried to charge my card 120$ and that was just the first time. The second time they tried to get me to spend 50$. If I didn't notice on the screen what they were doing, you'd be automatically charged and HAVE to use that amount. This should be illegal to do and the store employees should be reprimanded. Shame on this store & beware any other shoppers"

"BLUF: Thank you for helping me choose (anywhere else) for my order ahead grocery shopping services. I registered for a Stop & Shop account less than a month ago and made an order. It was not without issue, but it ultimately worked. I have attempted to make an order for the past two days to no avail. When I was finally able to get customer service on the line, I was informed that because my (cell phone) area code did not align with my address zip code, my account was flagged for fraud and locked out. Customer service could do nothing else at this point except insist that Stop & Shop sent out an email (singular) regarding this issue. They repeatedly referred to the email while defaulting to such customer service gems as "that's not my department" and "I don't know what to tell you" all the while speaking over me, and ultimately hanging up on me. Two points to note: 1) As a 42 year old with 20 years worth of being moved around by the military, I have lived in 10 states, 2 countries, and 1 U.S. territory and have never once run into this issue, much less heard of it being an issue. Never. Once. 2) Like many others, I receive hundreds of emails per day with the vast majority being spam, and many of those being automatically flagged as spam/junk by my email provider. Perhaps there was an email generated, but I cannot verify that. What I can verify is that even though Stop & Shop was apparently concerned with fraud, no attempt was made to contact me telephonically or vial postal mail (and no repeat email was generated according to customer service). I find it hard to believe that in 2023, a business with such an ostensibly overactive fraud prevention department doesn't seem to comprehend that since the passage of the federal Telecommunications Act of 1996 (which introduced phone number portability), people can move without changing phone numbers(!) and as a result, cell phone numbers OFTEN do not align with zip code for massive swaths of the population. You have lost a customer."

"They are now charging extra for something that is obviously already covered in overhead expenses, paper bags.... and then they have the nerve to also beg for your spare change at checkout. *Also, pay close attention to the expiration date on everything you buy, they really like to push expired goods here* ... and moldy berries. The only positive side to this store is convenience."

"One of the friendliest, neatest and well-kept super markets anywhere! The staff are very helpful and take pride in the their store. As a former grocery clerk, I was very impressed with the way that every shelf in every aisle had all the items all blocked out right in front so it was easy to locate a particular item. The robot which roamed the produce aisles was a bit unsettling, though not alarming. It reminded me of "Robbie the Robot" from my childhood."
