"This is apparently takeaway only, no seating. Nice little store for Italian ingredients. As tourists, we had no food prep ability, so moot. It's about 15 minutes north of city on the way to Mt. Washington. We went here as other sit down restaurants were a mob scene. Very little wait here and was very efficient. We did three pizza's, white, pepperoni, and sausage. There was only one size (~12") pizza offered. But they were only around $10-12, so with tip ~$40 for all three. This is the cheapest lunch or dinner you will find in the area from what I saw. Get cheap wine/beer at Hannaford in town and ergo, you have the best value for budget dining. Spouse said I smelled like garlic that day after after eating the white pizza, but the flavor was excellent and garlic smell was a bonus! We saved the other pizzas for the trail and even a day later, they were very good, considering."
"Good food, excellent Italian market. We got some delicious take home food that was really good. Homemade pot pies, lasagna, mac-n-cheese, San Marzano tomatoes, hard to find pasta. Highly recommend you add this stop fill your cupboard with Italian goodness and your freezer with wholesome comfort foods. This is a special place."
"I went here after a 7 hour hike - I packed next to no food on that hike, so suffice to say I was very hungry when I got here. They only serve take out, and it took about 20 minutes to wait for the pizza, but the pizza was stupendous. I got a pizza with pepperoni, spinach, and red pepper. The cheese was incredibly stringy and flavorful, the crust was nice and brown+crisp, tomatoes tangy, and the toppings were all very tasty. I went together with my dad, he ordered a meatball sub and that also really surprised me, great flavor and soft bread. They really really know what they're doing here, I've had a lot of italian food growing up in Rhode Island with family on Long Island, and I really want to return to this place soon to try their pasta. I'm surprised and impressed!"
"This place has great, authentic Italian food. Opened originally as a breakfast restaurant by an Italian immigrant, it has evolved into what you see today. The restaurant is take-out only. You can call and order ahead. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. Take that opportunity to take a look around the Italian market. It seemed that the frozen pot pies are a big hit with the bikers. The pot pies are big. I had the Spaghetti with meatballs and the house sauce, which featured mushrooms, some veggies and meat. It was fantastic! The others in my party had the eggplant parmasean and roasted red pepper pesto. They loved it. A great meal!"
