"This isn’t really a “symphony”, it is more of a “Pops”. They play popular music with a symphonic orchestra. The orchestra is good. We saw the Christmas show, they had kids from a local ballet studio, the little kids were really cute but the older kids didn’t really cut it. There are three women sopranos that sang many songs, sopranos are my least favorite voices. A woman drenched in cheap perfume sat near us and gave me a migraine and the staff said the only alternative was for us to give up our expensive seats, even though a letter had been sent telling people not to wear perfumes. Why was that woman given preferential treatment over people who followed the rules? Doesn’t seem fair. We weren’t offered a price adjustment or apology but treated like jerks for complaining. I had a migraine from the odor. I can’t imagine attending again. We are season ticket holders to the Boston Ballet and would enjoy a pleasant musical event close to home. Clearly, this won’t be it. We were treated as if we were the offending party. What a shame."
"As a musician who plays with this marvelous group of talented performers, I can say it is my life's honor to work here. Everyone is totally committed, knowledgeable, friendly and the concerts are nothing short of outstanding. Jung-Ho continues to amaze even us, the musicians!"
"Jung-Ho Oak is such a talented conductor and artistic director. The musicians in the symphony are such a high caliber of talent as well. Have enjoyed every performance. We are so lucky to have this amazing gift here on the Cape."
"The Wizard of Oz was one of the best performances ever! The acting by the Cotuit performers, the music by the Symphony, the "movie" screen, all made this a wonderful experience for children and adults alike! When you think Jung Ho Pak can't create a better experience for the next Symphony concert, he does just that! We are so blessed to have this amazing and awesome Cape Symphony!"
"The most fabulous entertainment on cape cod. All concerts outstanding. Conductor has magic charisma. Members of orchestra perfect. Been to many concerts. This years holiday concert exceeded in every way. thank God for the cape symphony."
