"I ordered a 5 rib prime rib roast for Christmas and the roast pictured here is the one I received. This was priced at $30/lb and came out to a total of 380 dollars. The quality seemed off so for peace of mind I posted pictures of this roast to a butchery forum. I was met with universal disbelief at the quality of the meat considering the price. I know that “prime rib” does not equal prime grade beef. But this beef is borderline choice grade. I’ve had butchers from across the country tell me that they are selling better grade roasts for a third of the price. I have always ordered my roasts here and have never balked at the price because I enjoy supporting a local business and I’ve always thought the quality to be superior to what I would get at a larger grocery store. I can’t help but feeling ripped off this time though."

"Excellent quality of meats and very nice staff. If you don't see what your looking for ask I did and got a wonderful piece of lamb along with two beautiful strip sirloin steaks for the 4th. This quality costs a bit more but my fiancee` and I are worth it."
