"I ordered online there on December 11 around 5pm and the online ordering was open and said it closed at 7. The site charged my card and I got to De olla about 5:30pm and it was closed with no indication anyone had been working there. I have received no refund since. Will not be going back, you cannot trust if it’s open or not. I’ve tried calling many times to try to get a refund"
"I’ve been going since they opened. Most recently after ownership change I went in and waited at the counter for 15-20 minutes to place an order and was ignored by the staff. Seems like they only deal with people who order online, because they put a couple pickup orders on the counter and still didn’t even ask my name or if I needed to order. Food is good but at the very least ask folks if they’re picking up or ordering when they’re waiting."
"This used to be good restaurant, not anymore. We (3 people) walked in yesterday, there was nobody visible. We had to order online and wait for the food to be ready. The estimated time was 20 minutes, we got it after 5 minutes or so. Can you prepare 2 bowls and 1 burrito in 5 minutes in good quality? Well, you can not. In one bowl, we found hair and in the other one some of the salad was rotten. We will not go there again and can't recommend this place."
"First visit. The smells walking into a really cool atmosphere were wonderful. A friendly staff walk through the menu and other options. This place suits all dietary preferences, AND you can ask for the burrito to be served as nachos, a bowl, and more options, instead. Tried the #6 burrito - wow, look it up up, made my face happy, and filled me up for an afternoon of yard work. If anyone has connections with the alchohol licensing folk, please nudge them to hurry this place's approval as the beer taps are ready to go. Will be back!"
"This place went from being a fun quirky hole-in-the-wall restaurant to just being an uninviting hole in the wall. Thats literally what it is when you walk in. I'm not sure if the place has changed ownership, but who ever made the decisions for the renovations had a huge laps in judgement. Instead of the Chipotle like "build you own burrito" set up from before, its now scan a QR code and order online with limited option. (Customization appears to cost extra) This setup has a number of problems. When first arriving, you have no line at the counter to gauge how long you'll be waiting for food, just order through the phone and find out after paying with your card that you'll be sitting there for 20mins. Next, it removes customer-host interaction (which the place used to excel at) and lastly this increases the chances of your order being messed up. This was the case for both my father and I earlier today. He never selected rice on his tacos and got it anyway. I requested to not have sour cream on mine and had my tacos swimming in it. Furthermore I had ordered a coke that was never added in the bag. After realizing this, I went back in with my recipe to find out they don't have coke, and had me go home with another drink instead. All complications that did not exists with the original setup. I'll try to check in later this year to see if its improved any as they just opened back up. But my initial first impressions are very poor."
