However I AM aware of many nasty people living in the complexes here that commonly use their shop. People treat you the way you treat them, and I really like the guys from the shop."

"Has a great selection of alcohol for a corner market. Since my last post, the owner has been more helpful. He does try to make as much as he can, I cant blame him entirely, it's capitalism, but it does get annoying to see the same items keep increasing every other month, not because the price of the items increase, but rather because the owner just wants to make what he can off his customers. With that said, I do enjoy the fact that its a family run business. AND.... if you are ever lucky enough to catch the best cashier, who works nights, whistling like a bird, consider yourself among the fortunate few."

"Anybody speaking highly (or even just modestly) about this place either has only been there once or twice, or they are for whatever reason just wanting to leave a good review. When its the closest store to where you live, it won't be long before you grow to hate giving them your money. Typical cheapskate, everything is far overpriced. Can't grab just a few things without spending 20 bucks so can easily spend 40 or 50 when you're not running to the store for just yourself. Check your expiration dates on everything you grab, and don't hesitate to bring the whole case of whatever you find that is in fact expired up to the register and drop it on the counter. And then, don't be surprised to find it back on the shelf the next day. My wife once bought a 6 pack and at the register he (owner) takes the brand name cardboard carrier to keep for himself to refill from a large case. He replaced it with a solid white generic one. I once bought a couple 2 liters of (expired) soda. Brought it back within 10 minutes. (Owner again) I didn't say anything I just pointed out that they were expired then went to grab 2 others. I go back and pull out my wallet and he doesn't skip a beat - he was reaching to scan the new ones before I had my wallet out of my pocket. I just shook my head and didnt respond to him, paid, left. Hes a fool. I will add that in his attempt at small talk he tried getting me to laugh with him as he said "people don't even notice yanno? and if they do I tell them its fine just mix it with your alcohol." The guy that works nights isn't bad. You can tell that he agrees that the owner is a piece of work. Thats why the store is usually closed just after 9, and no later than 9.30. Supposed to be open til 10 but the guy in charge at night gives the owner the same respect that the owner gives everybody else. I don't blame him."
