"Went here tonight with my kids did our shopping and went to cash out at the self checkout. There was a issue ringing in a bakery item so I had to hit the button to have the employee come over and help me because he could see that I needed help and was staring at him but he would just keep looking away until the machine had to tell him to come over to me which he then was kind of rude to me about the situation and asked me if I typed in certain numbers at the end of the UPC because that's what you have to do with their Bakery items and I said no how would I know to do that then he did it and it worked I said thank you he rolled his eyes at me and he walked away no you're welcome next issue was I went to pay and for some reason my card didn't go through so they were going to suspend the order and ring me at their register which he did not know how to do so he had to get help from another employee which was a woman that came over and had me go over to their register and I tried to pay there which it did the same thing but after it doing the same thing the other register did she said I see what the problem is "you have no money" in quote her exact words. She said this in front of my children and in front of other customers that were cashing out of the self-checkout my heart dropped to my stomach how embarrassed I was not only in front of my children but the other people she just said this in front of and I told her I had called my card and was told that my card was active nothing was wrong with it and was told my balance which was way more than enough to cover my purchase and she said nothing to me and left me standing there and walked away as the employee that was running the self-checkout just kind of sat there and stared at me and then another male employee with long hair came to take over the self checkout just kind of stood there and stared at me. What got me was how terribly I was treated when I was just a regular customer nothing but nice and polite to them. I was just having an issue that happens in stores like this all the time but they treated me like I was garbage. I called my card again and spoke to somebody that said they cannot see what the issue is with my card there is no lock on it there is no hold on it nothing is wrong with my pin. I work in customer service and I could never dream of treating one of my customers the way I was treated today. Was in today at self checkout right around 7pm and will NEVER make that mistake again! I went to the service desk just to try to see maybe if they were having an issue with cards tonight and mentioned what happened the girl at the service desk was very nice I had went back in the store to purchase a couple of the things with a different method of payment and on the way out as I walked by the woman that told me I have no money was now at the service desk laughing with the woman I had told the situation too just all very extremely embarrassing I wouldn't wish an experience like that on anyone when you just trying to go grab dinner with your kids."

"Great employees, very helpful whenever I have an issue with pricing, something wrong at the register or getting help with the stop and shop app. Sandy, Brittany, Meg, or Barbara will be at the service desk almost every day. I always have a good experience. Never any problems."

"I very much love this stop and shop, it's the best one in the system. I have the world's worst food allergies, can only eat 5 foods but this store is very good at keeping the items in stock. The cashier Adam is always a nice person."
