"DO NOT BUY WINE HERE!!! The selection is uninspired and outdated (most of it is undrinkable) but the real doozy is that any palatable wines they do stock can be easily found at other Northampton establishments for at least 20% less… I have no idea how they get away with the markups! Finally, the “owner” is a grotesque and pompous little man who is too busy living in the past to realize his wine stock hasn’t changed since the 80s (well, the prices have- hah)."
"I do like this small food market. The people whom work there are very kind. The price very depending on what you are buying. I mean price seem to be good. But I would most certainly check the dates on the meat. The hamburger meat not so good. Also when u first walk into the store there is a stench. That differently has to be worked on. Other then that I do like to shop here. Love the small market feel."
"They have some of the best curated liquors, I am definitely a big fan. I highly recommend the Yobo Hunni as a sparkling seltzer alternative, and this is the only place I know of that carries it. The grocery side of the store is nice as well, if a little pricey. Great selection of fun little drinks."
"I'm writing this review because I just can't take the price gouging here. I get great service there from most of the workers and enjoy most of the food options, but this store constantly raises prices. I know you're the only store in the area so we just sometimes have to deal with it - I get that. I went in yesterday to get a sandwich and it was 8.99 which is a two dollar mark-up from 6.99. One day I'll go in sure about a price and then in a split second it's up by 2 dollars. I have to do a double take. I bought paper towels once for something like a 1.55 maybe and then they went to a 1.89. Ice cream is up -- everything constantly creeps up. I understand small stores have needs, but this is ridiculous. I am on ebt and I hate having to go here because I buy 3-4 things and it's like 40 bucks - gone. I would go to other stores but accessibility can be a problem sometimes. Please put yourself in your customers shoes and think about the whiplash you'd have from all the double takes due to prices."
"An excellent recommendation brought me to state street Fruit, Deli, and wine store for lunch. A cornucopia of delicious things. I thoroughly enjoyed a Turkey Smitty with extra avocado; a simple lemon flavoured water, and a walnut brownie."
