The Dirty Italian

"This place is probably the best in Southie for an Italian sub or equal to American Provisions and that's not saying much. I've been here a few times and it's overpriced and average. The Italian i got today tasted like something you get premade at Stop&Shop. Asiago cheese does not go in a true Italian sub. Not a fan of the mortadella they use either, it's very dark. I also wish they had better bread"

"Let me preface this with: The food is good, hoagies have potential. That being said, the bread doesn’t hold up. The warm chicken cutlet bread was mushy, and the Italian was soggy with only a slice of each meat. They also left the stems of the pepper in my Italian hoagie. However, I would try here again, the guts of the sandwich have great potential. Being from Philadelphia these leave a lot to desire. Chips are good, wish the coke was in a can. Happy to update this review in the future."

"Talya’s Dirty Italian is beyond delicious! I tried most of the sandwiches (definitely order the PESTOlano and The Dom!) and also picked up a bunch of imported grocery items from Italy! So authentic and all of the staff is super friendly.. especially Talya herself! 11/10 recommend!"

"Perfect new addition to Southie ! This deli has a delicious sandwich menu, quick grab and go meals, and even a charcuterie corner! I love their Mother Theresa Turkey sandwich, and I’m excited to try more of their options. The service is super friendly and the prices are super reasonable!"
